"If German publishing has a punky upstart then Spex is the neatest fit. From it's spikey new wave beginnings in the early 80s, Spex has rolled with the times, although seemed to hit it's stride after a redesign back in 2000. Now they have up sticks to Berlin with a new team, it'll be interesting to follow what new directions they'll be taking the magazine in now."
